Terms of Service

Last updated: March 23, 2026

By accessing or using Movesia, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding contract between you and Movesia. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

Important: These terms include a binding arbitration clause and class action waiver in Section 19, which affect your legal rights. By using Movesia, you agree to resolve most disputes through individual arbitration rather than in court. You have 30 days from account creation to opt out. Please review Section 19 carefully.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Movesia platform, desktop application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Movesia ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, installing the application, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using Movesia, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. Service Description

Movesia is an AI-powered desktop application designed to assist with Unity game development. It connects to a running Unity Editor instance over a local WebSocket connection, providing an AI agent with real-time access to your scene hierarchy, GameObjects, components, prefabs, assets, and console logs.

The Service enables you to interact with an AI assistant through natural-language conversation to perform operations in the Unity Editor, including but not limited to querying scene data, modifying components, managing prefabs, and editing scene configurations.

Movesia does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated output. The AI is an assistant tool — not a substitute for your own professional judgment. All modifications to your Unity projects are made at your sole discretion and risk.

Movesia is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Unity Technologies. "Unity" and related trademarks are the property of Unity Technologies.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information, or that are used in violation of these Terms.

4. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.

This license does not convey any ownership rights in the Service, its underlying technology, or any intellectual property associated with Movesia. You may not sublicense, sell, lease, or otherwise transfer your rights under this license to any third party.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service
  • Use the AI to generate malicious, harmful, or destructive code, including but not limited to malware, exploits, or code designed to damage systems or data
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service or any output generated by the Service
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with credit limits, rate limiting, or other usage restrictions
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service beyond the provided API and desktop application
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its underlying infrastructure
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data

6. AI-Specific Disclaimers

Movesia uses third-party large language models (LLMs) to power its AI assistant. You acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • AI outputs are not guaranteed. The AI may generate incorrect, incomplete, or suboptimal code, configurations, or suggestions. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated output before applying it to your projects.
  • AI can modify your Unity projects. The AI agent has the ability to create, modify, and delete GameObjects, components, assets, and scene configurations in your running Unity Editor. These modifications may cause unintended consequences, including data loss or project corruption.
  • You should maintain backups. We strongly recommend using version control (e.g., Git) and maintaining regular backups of your Unity projects before using Movesia.
  • AI is an assistant, not a replacement. Movesia is designed to augment your development workflow, not replace professional judgment. You remain responsible for the quality, correctness, and safety of your projects.

7. Intellectual Property

Our property: The Service, including its source code, user interface, design, branding, documentation, and all associated intellectual property, is and remains the exclusive property of Movesia and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.

Your content: You retain all rights to your Unity projects, game assets, code, and other content that you create using or in connection with the Service. Movesia does not claim ownership over your project files.

AI-generated output: To the extent Movesia has any right, title, or interest in AI-generated output produced through your use of the Service — including code, configurations, and suggestions — we assign those rights to you. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any AI-generated output before incorporating it into your projects.

Conversation data: When you interact with the AI assistant, your messages and the AI's responses are processed through third-party LLM providers to generate outputs. We may retain conversation metadata (such as timestamps and token usage) for analytics and service improvement, but your project-specific content remains yours.

Feedback: If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service (whether through support channels, surveys, social media, or any other means), you grant Movesia an unrestricted, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback for any purpose without compensation or attribution to you. You are under no obligation to provide feedback.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Third-party processing: To provide AI-powered features, your conversation messages are sent to third-party large language model providers, including Anthropic (via OpenRouter). These providers process your messages to generate responses. We do not control how these providers handle data beyond our contractual agreements with them.

Local project data: Movesia connects to your Unity Editor over a local WebSocket connection. Your Unity project files remain on your local machine and are not uploaded to our servers. Scene data queried by the AI is transmitted only within the context of your conversation and is not stored by Movesia beyond the session.

No training on your data: Movesia does not use your project data, conversation content, Unity scene information, or any other user-generated content to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. Your data is used solely to provide the Service to you in real time and is not repurposed for model development.

We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy for full details on what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.

9. Payment & Billing

Movesia offers subscription-based plans, including a free tier and paid tiers (currently "Pro" at $19/month). Plan details, pricing, and included features are described on our Pricing page.

Billing cycle: Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Credit system: Your plan includes a monthly credit allocation for AI requests. Credits reset at the beginning of each billing period. Unused credits do not roll over to the next period.

Failed payments: If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and/or suspend your access to paid features until the payment is resolved. Your account may be downgraded to the free tier if payment issues persist.

Price changes:We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which you are responsible for paying.

10. Refunds & Cancellation

Cancellation: You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will be downgraded to the free tier.

Refunds: Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of the charge.

Downgrade: When your subscription ends or is canceled, you will retain access to free-tier features. Any data associated with paid features (such as additional project slots) may become inaccessible but will not be deleted for at least 30 days.

11. "As-Is" Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any AI-generated output, code, suggestions, or modifications produced through the Service.

You expressly acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors, may not be suitable for your specific use case, and may cause unintended consequences when applied to your Unity projects.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Movesia, its directors, officers, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

This limitation applies specifically, but not exclusively, to:

  • Damage to Unity projects caused by AI-generated modifications, including corrupted scenes, lost assets, or broken configurations
  • Service interruptions, outages, or downtime, whether planned or unplanned
  • Loss of data, including conversation history, account data, or project files
  • Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated output
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Movesia and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Content you create, submit, or generate through the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
  • Any claim by a third party that your use of the Service caused them damage

14. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers and technologies, including AI model providers, payment processors, and other infrastructure services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services. Changes to third-party services may affect the functionality of Movesia. We will make reasonable efforts to adapt to such changes but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

15. Termination

Termination by you: You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

Termination by us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms, is harmful to other users or third parties, or is otherwise objectionable.

Effect of termination: Upon termination, your license to use the Service immediately ceases. We may retain or delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your Unity project files, which remain on your local machine, are unaffected by account termination.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution, and Governing Law) will remain in effect.

16. Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Effective date"
  • Notify you via email to the address associated with your account at least 30 days before the changes take effect

Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service before the effective date.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Rhode Island, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action or proceeding not subject to arbitration under Section 19 shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Rhode Island, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

18. General Provisions

Force majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet or infrastructure outages, or third-party service failures.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Movesia regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them at any time without notice.

No support obligation: We are under no obligation to provide technical support, maintenance, or updates for the Service, though we may choose to do so at our discretion.

19. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Informal resolution first: Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Binding arbitration: If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

Class action waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Movesia.

30-day opt-out: You have the right to opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of creating your account by sending written notice to [email protected] with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out." If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the courts specified in Section 17.

Small claims exception: Either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court.
